About Rind and Dandy
Rind & Dandy is an Atlanta-based creative studio and retail brand featuring original paintings, hand-painted functional art on fair-trade, 100% cotton canvas bags, and handcrafted home décor. The work blends fine art sensibility with everyday usefulness — transforming durable totes, messenger bags, crossbody bags, purses, and decorative pieces into items meant to be carried, used, displayed, and enjoyed.
Founded by Kimberly Perdue, Rind & Dandy grew from a return to painting after more than 30 years in branding and creative direction. What began as time back in the studio evolved into a collection rooted in craftsmanship, ethical sourcing, and thoughtful design.
Each painting, bag, and home décor piece is created in small batches, with careful attention to balance, color, and material integrity. Whether displayed on a wall, carried through daily life, or placed thoughtfully in a home, the work is designed to feel intentional, distinctive, and lasting.
At its heart, Rind & Dandy is simply about making functional art that adds a little beauty and joy to everyday life.

Make It Personal
Don't see the perfect bag for you and have something else in mind? Commission a custom bag designed and hand-painted just for you, or personalize any existing bag with a name or initials.
For businesses, I offer custom-branded bags that begin with either a hand-painted interpretation of your brand or event, or we can use your exact brand artwork and add something special to it. We then professionally reproduce the artwork in high-quality, full color on the bag style of your choice.
It’s a distinctive, artful way to create something truly memorable for clients, events, or retail.

Mary Lynn Guarino
Love this rindanddandy.com website and the beautiful hand painted tote bags and handbags. I bought multiple ornaments and have decorated my house with them. I also bought exquisitely hand painted tote bags for a very affordable price which I did not expect because it was so well done. I wish I was in an area to go to a festival and see these beautiful collections in person. I don’t believe she would have any left to sell to anyone else! I am excited and looking forward to anything in her future collection. Mary Lynn Guarino loyal customer!

I recently purchased a hand painted sunflower canvas tote bag, and I absolutely love it! The sunflower design is stunning it truly looks like a work of art. The bag itself is very well made and sturdy, and I appreciate the snap enclosure, which makes it both stylish and practical. You can tell a lot of care was went into making it. I’m always happy to support a local home based business and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and beautifully crafted.

About The Artist
Kimberly Perdue is an Atlanta-based artist and creative director who returned to painting after more than 30 years spent building brands and guiding creative work for others. What started as time back in the studio quickly became a renewed focus on making art by hand.
She creates original paintings as well as hand-painted functional pieces on fair-trade, 100% cotton canvas and handcrafted home décor. Her background in design gives her work structure and clarity, but every piece is painted by hand, allowing natural variation and personality to remain.
Kimberly works in small batches, choosing materials carefully and approaching each piece with intention. Whether it’s a painting for the wall or a bag meant to be carried, her goal is the same — to create art that feels thoughtful, personal, and part of everyday life.
